New York City vacation
Abogax is heading to New York City for a week to spur creative thinking. We’ve planned everything out on a website, although we don’t expect to follow the schedule precisely. This is a very exciting trip, and in addition to having fun, we should have plenty of photos to post afterwards. If you’ve got any suggestions, feel free to contact us! We plan to visit many art and design museums. If we’re lucky, we’ll also have a chance to see the art that is Steven Colbert.
A new studio is born
Hi there. I’m Trey Philips, one of the team members here at Abogax, and I’d like to give a brief introduction to the company we’ve started.
For many years, I’ve had an interest in web design. As time has passed, I’ve slowly learned more about the industry, about web development as a whole, and I’ve watched the everyday importance of the web migrate into the commonperson’s life.
As a student, I don’t have much free time, but it’s safe to say the internet is the largest consumer of my time. I’ve taken up some web projects in the past, and hope to continue this hobby in the future. That’s where Abogax comes in. It’s a project to help me organize and sustain this pastime. It’s a way to express what I’m learning about in design, from graphic design to information design.
One of the advantages I have as a student not searching for money is that I get to concentrate on learning and on design, instead of taking projects solely for income. This means I get to concentrate on the project, not on its completion. I look forward to personal progress, and hopefully, you’ll be as impressed with our projects as I am.
